INFINITY 3D Frame

Our first design challenge was to produce a robust, inexpensive frame that we could produce in large quantities inexpensively and quickly, and which would be simple to build, but versatile enough to support the wide range of variations that we had planned for the INFINITY 3D Platform, which include a LASER, a CNC/MILL and a 3DPRINTER.

The INFINITY 3D Platform is a general-purpose frame for 3-Axis robotics projects. It acts as a reliable, inexpensive mounting platform to attach the various electronics-driven systems (power, logic, application) to attach to. To keep costs down, the INFINITY 3D is based on a laser-cut frame made from 6mm Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF).
